Description:
Buckskin roan ranch gelding , we call him “Oatmeal “ he is 7 yrs old, 15.2 hands ,1175 lbs, heavy muscled, black footed, has a good wither cinches up deep, and an excellent big country ranch gelding.

Oatmeal would be best suited for a cowboy that has sweat stains on his hat from years in the saddle. He came off a ranch in ne New Mexico. He has been ridden lots of miles in the roughest country prowling cattle in the rocks and canyons. He has a good ground covering dog trot. Oatmeal has had some calves drug on him and some caught on him outside. Currently being used in a cow sale west of us and taking care of outside cattle and loading trucks.

If you need a tough son of a gun that’s about 1/2 gentle here he is, he is a little watchy on the ground. It takes Oatmeal a little time to get used to you, but will in time.

He hauls well in our ranch trailers and isnt a problem to shoe, vaccinate and worm. He has no permanent blemishes.



I will only sell Oatmeal to a sure nuff Cowboy that will use him that’s where he needs to be.
