Description:
Nickel is a big pretty buckskin gelding that we’ve used extensively on the ranch. He’s drug tons of calves to the fire and roped lots of yearlings on wheat pasture. Easily 15 hands, and 1200#. Crosses water, backs out of the trailer, step on him and lope him off, no bad habits. Stays the same horse after time off. We feel like he’ll make a nice head horse if someone wants to put him in the box. Has the mentality to stay calm and quiet and really wants to watch a cow. We’ve drug cattle in the trailer with him and trotted miles and miles of west Texas. 100% sound, good feet, stands great to be shod. Good solid young gelding with his whole life ahead of him.
