Description:
This is a pair of used handmade spurs made by well known and highly collectible bit and spur maker Pat Vaughn from Shamrock, Texas. They are marked with a P ^ on the outside of the heel bands and numbered 91. Pat has been building bits and spurs since 1980 and is listed in Bits & Spurs, Motifs, Techniques, and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin. The spurs are steel with a natural patina and are single mounted with nickel silver. There is a little play in the rowels but not much and some marks on the mountings from use. This would be a great pair to add to a collection from a noted maker or to wear.

Measurements: Heel Band Width a little less than 1 ¼”, Shanks (measured from heel band to end of shank) 2 ⅛”, Rowel Diameter a little over 1 ½”, Rowel Points 8, Heel Opening 3 ¼”, Weight of both spurs 1lb 7.8oz
