Description:
This is used handmade mechanical hackamore made by Tommy Whitacre. It has Tommy’s older mark T.W. on the outside of one cheek piece and marked T.W. on the other cheek piece and dated 2, 12, 91. Tommy is a long time bit and spur maker out of Canyon, Texas. The hackamore is steel mounted with eight pieces of copper and eight pieces of brass. It was originally mounted with a brand that was replaced by bit and spur maker David Hunt. He did a nice job of matching the engraving. It has all new chains and a new leather covered bicycle chain nose band. It has a lot of use left in it.
