If you are looking for a good safe horse for the kids and grandkids, one you can count on to always be the same and take care of them, then take a look at Mable. She is just about as gentle as they come! She is a cute red roan mare, the perfect size at 14.1 hh. She is small enough for the kiddos to comfortably ride but big enough for mom and dad to ride too. Mable is honest, dependable, and did I mention safe? She is 18 years old but still has plenty of go and acts like a horse much younger. She has taught my daughter how to ride and now we are ready for a step up horse, so sadly Mable is looking for a new family to love and spoil her. She is happy to walk quietly all day long but will willingly step into a trot or lope when asked without too much urging. She has absolutely no buck in her, and will not kick, bite, rear or take off. Mable rides quietly on a loose rein, has a good handle and stop, and is good on both leads. She rides good both out in the pasture and in the arena, and would be a great little playday horse. She rides in a bitless bridle, which we will pass on to the new owner. Mable is a good leadline horse as well. She can be ridden by herself or with a large group of horses with no problem. She will leave the group willingly and will happily lead or follow. She has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and is not bothered by it. $2000.
