Description:
This is a cute little new pair of chihuahua kid spurs made by well-known and highly collectible maker Kerry Kelley. Kerry is from Weatherford, Texas and has been building spurs since 1997. Kerry is one of the past spur makers selected to provide spurs for the Texas Style Bit and Spur Makers Association Woman’s Protective Services auction along with other top makers. Kerry is listed in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. The spurs are marked Kerry Kelley and dated 2010. The spurs are steel and are single mounted with nickel silver flowers and scrolls with brass dots in the centers of the flowers. A picture is included with a men’s spur so you can get an idea of the size. They would nice to use or a great pair of spurs to add to a collection from a very collectible maker.
