Description:
Sis is a three year old female. She is half border collie and half catahoula. Sis is as seasoned as they come. She is always the same dog. We have dog broke a lot of cattle with her. She will gather a 60 acre trap by herself. If she can see the cattle, she will go to them. Sis will go into the pond to bring cattle out. She gets to the backside and will not leave one in the field unless we call her off. Sis is not a fancy type of dog. She does not have a lot of commands. She is very useful and easy to work. Her commands are "way around," "bring em on" "push em up" "look back" and "SIS HERE!!!" She can be a touch hard headed sometimes(usually only the call off.) She has worked all kinds of cattle. Pairs, yearlings, cows, and bulls are all on her resume. She has worked in big pastures, in the sorting pen, and in the ally. She has been worked on foot and horseback, but mostly, we stand at the gate and let her do the work for us. She will bring cattle to a gate or to a truck or ATV. She tries to figure out the situation and put herself where she can help the most. We really like Sis. Therefore, we are selling her with a trial period and only to an approved home. If you buy Sis, and you do not like her for any reason, bring her back completely healthy, sane, and sound, and we will buy her back. We are focusing more on trial dogs right now and Sis is not a trial dog, but she is an amazing ranch dog. We just do not have a job for her and we do not want her to sit idle in our kennels. She has a great personality and is good with young kids. She has good manners. I really cant say enough good things about this dog.
