Description:
HESA Pepto Peppy Cat, affectionately known as “Mario, is a registered 4-year-old gelding standing 14.2 hands tall, and this little horse is the kind that is hard not to fall in love with. He has a huge heart, an exceptional mind, and a genuine desire to learn and please. Mario approaches everything with a go-with-the-flow attitude and tries his hardest every time you ask. And, of course, he is cute as a button!

Mario is incredibly people-oriented and a pleasure to have around. He is easy to catch, stands quietly for saddling and bridling, is excellent with his feet, and handles everyday life with a maturity beyond his years. He loves attention and has all the fun party tricks—he confidently works around tarps, flags, balls, and sleds, side passes to the mounting block, and even lays down on cue.

Under saddle, Mario is an absolute joy. He has a naturally cute, collected way of going with a smooth, controlled walk, trot, and lope. He is soft in the face, responsive, balanced, and has a wonderful feel in your hands. He has a nice collected hunch turn both ways and **amazing transitions**, giving him the foundation and feel to continue developing in so many different directions. Whether you’re working in the arena or simply enjoying a quiet ride, Mario makes every ride feel comfortable and fun.

We could easily see Mario being a step-up horse for a handy kiddo who is ready to move into a horse with more buttons and more opportunities to learn. He is also a fancy prospect for **ranch versatility, ranch riding, queening, trail competition, or someone simply looking for a fun and talented all-around horse.** He has the mind and foundation to help a young rider grow while still being enjoyable for an experienced rider.

Mario is exceptionally brave and willing when introduced to new experiences. He approaches unfamiliar situations with confidence and curiosity rather than worry. On cattle, his natural ability really starts to shine. He reads a cow well, enjoys the work, and has the instincts and athleticism to go the roping pen or continue his career as a ranch horse.

He is equally enjoyable outside the arena. Mario is a thoughtful and confident trail horse who handles water, bridges, bogs, brush, logs, and other obstacles with a willing attitude. He is the kind of horse you can take out to have fun, explore, and make memories with.

With his kind personality, trainable mind, natural ability, and versatile foundation, Mario can go and do it all!

Mario is up to date on dental, vaccinations, chiropractic care, farrier care, worming, and Coggins/health. He ALSO has a general PPE WITH X-RAYS available so you can bid with confidence!
