Description:
My name is Garrett Compton. My wife and I have been in the business for a long time. We both have several years of feedlot, ranch, and horse/cattle experience. That being said, we have a 2 year old so my wife can help when necessary, but I’m looking for a position mainly for myself. (She’s happy to help when she’s needed). I have experience with sorting, branding, shipping, receiving, doctoring, commercial/conventional/natural cattle processes, high risk cattle, basically anything horseback, cowboy trims for horses (still learning), feeding, caking, minor windmill experience, light equipment use (always willing to learn a new skill!)

Looking for a family operation that has family values.

We have 4 proven working horses (8yrs+) that have been everywhere and seen everything. Also have 2 up-and-comers (2 year old & 1 year old) who we’d love to keep, but we know that’s not ideal for every ranch. And 2 dogs who were both working, but have been on an extra long vacation (so they’re more like couch potatoes now.)

Looking for somewhere that our horses can be used to their potential. And where we can plant roots and stay. Not picky on location.

Feel free to reach out with any questions!
