Description:
Pippin is an excellent coming three-year-old draft cross prospect who has been well-started under saddle in Wyoming this summer. Pippin originated in Iowa Amish country, and since coming to Wyoming he has been exposed to many situations out in a variety of terrain and with cattle, which makes him an excellent candidate to move forward with a career on the trail or the ranch. He has that perfect gentle, quiet draft cross attitude that everyone looks for. Swing a rope, cross water, ride him bareback or mess around with a bow or rifle – he will take it all in stride. Pippin has a good start under saddle with a walk/trot/lope in the arena and out in the open. He crosses creeks, rivers and mud willingly and without jumping, and you can gather and rope cattle off him. We have shot a bow and arrow and a .22 rifle off him, and flags and sorting sticks in the alleyway don’t bother him. He is easy to catch, lower in the pecking order in the herd. He lives with a mixed herd of 25 horses and is used to being turned out. He stands tied quietly without pawing or setting back. He loads willingly in a trailer. He stands still for mounting, and he is good for the farrier. He comes with a fresh trim. Pippin comes with current health papers and a Wyoming brand inspection. We will hold at no extra cost for 10 days following the sale, and your first 150 miles of delivery is included. For more information and more photos and videos, find C Bracket Horse Barn on social media. Will hold for 10 days following the sale at no extra charge. Your first 150 miles of delivery are included with Pippin’s purchase.
