He grew up traveling the high desert and mountain country alongside his dam, learning early how to handle rough terrain and long days outside. When his owner retired from the military, Junior made the trip east to Delaware, where he has spent the past six years boarded with a family involved in rodeo at Cowtown Rodeo, the oldest continuously running rodeo on the East Coast. Junior is well broke with a good handle. He neck reins, spins, stops hard, and has been exposed to team roping on both live cattle and the sled. He can be roped on, but is not being represented as a finished rope horse. He has also spent plenty of time outside the arena trail riding, crossing water, going over obstacles, and riding through different terrain. He is a very friendly, easy-to-be-around gelding with good ground manners. Junior is easy to catch, stands well for the farrier, bathes, saddles, and bridles without issue. Junior has a small old cinch sore on his left side and underneath his belly, along with a small scar on his left hind leg. Neither affects his soundness or performance. From the high desert and mountains of Utah, to the East Coast following a military retirement, Junior has had a unique life and a lot of different experiences. He is a good, honest, well-broke gelding that would make someone a really nice all-around ranch, trail, or recreational horse. FMI: 571-215-6274. Coggins.
