Description:
We are a progressive 6 doctor veterinary practice in Ashland, KS that sees a large amount of beef cattle and horses. We are seeking a large animal veterinary assistant/technician to help our doctors care for our patients and clients. We help educated veterinary students as well and often have a Texas Tech intern in the clinic. We are looking for a people person, a team player, someone who enjoys working with livestock, and enjoys working in a laid back atmosphere. Experience is not required. For the right person/fit, we will be happy to train on the job.

Compensation is more than our area average and can be negotiable based on experience. The benefits are great including health insurance, 401K, health cafeteria plan! Ashland is a town of about 750 people located 50 miles southeast of Dodge City, KS and 60 miles north of Woodward, OK. We are truly rural, and town has all the basic amenities one needs such as a grocery store, new hospital, school, convenience store, banks, 24-hour fitness center, restaurants, and a vibrant downtown.
