Description:
38-year-old experienced cattleman, horseman, military veteran and family man seeking a long-term Campman, Foreman, or similar position with a quality cow-calf operation.

I have hands-on experience in large cow-calf operations including horseback gathering and moving cattle, sorting, processing and doctoring, herd health, rotational grazing and grass management, mineral programs, fencing, water and day-to-day ranch operations. I have Campman experience and understand what it means to take ownership of a set of cattle and country—not simply wait on a list of instructions every morning.

I also hold a bachelor’s degree in business and bring several years of leadership and management experience, including managing employees, budgets, operations, safety and developing people. That experience gives me the ability to look beyond getting today’s work done and understand planning, labor, costs, cattle performance and the overall operation.

I am comfortable horseback, furnish my own horses, and am not looking for a desk job. I want to be in the saddle and involved in the cattle, while taking on the responsibility expected of a Campman or Foreman. I’m willing to prove myself and earn trust with the right outfit.

Married with four children and looking for somewhere we can put down roots long-term. Dependable, professional, hard-working and comfortable working independently or leading a crew.
