Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking ranch hand to join our preconditioning farm. This is a full-time long-term position for someone comfortable working outdoors and handling livestock in a ranch setting. Must have hands-on experience with livestock and a strong work ethic.



Responsibilities:



- Riding horses regularly to check cattle

- Monitoring herd health and assisting with basic care

- This is not just a horseback position you must be able to contribute to performing general ranch duties (fencing, feeding, maintenance, etc.)

- Working in varying weather conditions



Requirements:



- Must be able to confidently ride a horse and have roping experience

-Must be able to lift 50+lbs easily

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a mature attitude.

- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of ranch work

-Must have license and able to drive

-Preferred knowledge operating farm equipment

-Drug FREE



What We Offer:



- Competitive pay based on experience

-With possible raise DOE after 60 day trial period

- Housing included (1 bed/1 bath)

-Up to 2 rideable horses allowed, but there are 2 ranch horses available if you do not have your own
