Josie is a standout 2-year-old with a bright future. By sale day, she will have approximately 30 rides and continues to progress with every outing. We purchased Josie right here from BLS Loose Pen, and she has exceeded our expectations. With fewer than 10 rides, Josie competed at a local horse show, earning 1st in Green Horse Western Pleasure, 4th in Adult Western Pleasure, and 3rd and 4th in Lead Line Trail. She also took part in the community 4th of July parade on two consecutive days, taking everything in stride. Josie has the kind, quiet disposition everyone is looking for. She has had a .22 fired beside her and fireworks go off nearby without hesitation, proving she has a steady, willing mind. She is the type of horse that wants to take care of her rider while remaining soft and eager to learn. As with any 2-year-old, Josie is still green and will benefit from continued training to reach her full potential. She has a small skin tag on her right hind leg and some old scarring on the front of both hocks from a previous injury. These are cosmetic only and do not affect her soundness or movement. AQHA papers are pending owner transfer.
