This striking buckskin gelding is as dependable as he is eye-catching, combining a rock-solid mind with an incredible athletic ability. Patron is a natural in the roping pen, as well as quiet and patient in the box, scoring perfectly every trip without getting anxious. He explodes with exceptional speed to the cattle, rates effortlessly, and provides a smooth, consistent handle for his partner. Patron is a competitive horse with plenty of pull and is very quick-footed. We have had him since he was two years old, and all of these characteristics are the outcome of him earning a living on our ranch since that time. Patron has been hauled to plenty of jackpots and amateur rodeos, and he is ready for a low-number roper to a professional roper. He stands 15.2 hands and weighs 1300 lbs, including a perfect conformation for a head horse, and possesses the breeding to back up his athletic abilities.
