Description:
Dunny is an outstanding, stout, well trained, 15hh gelding that was started slow and steady with mindfulness of keeping him sound and sane. Never started until almost 4 years old, he has been a 1000 rocky miles. Used as one of our principle guide horses with some really great cowboys and cowgirls aboard. He has carried flags and led a pretty big parade and as you will see in his video. He was very unaffected. He has really hard feet, thick mane and a big tail and those beautiful zebra strips all up and down his legs. He will make and excellent Ranch/Ranch Versatility Rider or Rope horse. He does track a cow…or your dog or all your other horses. Loves to be busy. Rides soft in the bridle with just the right amount sensitivity to legs and hands. Just a little bit of push model with a great gas pedal when needed. Wonderful hard stop and has only been loped the last nine months. These Hancock horses, in our experience, just when you think they are all grown up, they grow some more. This spring his chest spread out and he gained 3-4 inches of girth. His grandsire Blue Apache Hancock was a huge muscular animal. He was known for producing outstanding world class rope horses of substance. He is double bred Hancock and hasn’t got a buck in him. Probably too smart to be someones first horse unless you are with a great trainer. That is not because he bucks or spooks, he is just smart. Every Cowboy will love him. He is sound with no blemishes anywhere. 5 panel negative.
