Coming 3-Year-Old Bay Mustang Gelding | Outstanding Foundation | Unlimited Potential. Bandito is a coming 3-year-old bay mustang gelding with exceptional potential and a truly remarkable foundation. He is ready to head in any direction you choose — from the show pen to the mountains and everything in between. With the mind to work and the temperament to give it his all, this guy has been a joy in every stage of his development and is now ready for his next chapter. From day one, Bandito has been a pleasure to work with. He continues to show a calm, cooperative, and eager-to-learn attitude. He’s sweet-natured and intelligent, making him a horse that’s not only easy to train but enjoyable to be around. He truly thrives when given a job and consistent training and work. Bandito handles a wide range of obstacles with curiosity and confidence, including tarps, flags, and large balls. His trust in people and his grounded mindset make him highly adaptable in new situations. Under saddle, Bandito has been started in the western pleasure world and is coming along beautifully. He knows how to drop his head, collect naturally, and carry himself softly. His jog is smooth and consistent, and he’s currently working on slowing and balancing his lope. He’s light in the mouth, responsive to voice and seat cues, and is beginning lateral work such as side passing and crossing over as well as flying lead changes and quick and responsive rollback maneuvers. He also has a handful of English rides and shows great potential in that direction as well. He moves out nicely, has a naturally balanced gait, and has been over cavalettis with good awareness and rhythm. With further development, he would make an elegant and athletic hunter or all-around English prospect.

Trail riding is truly where Bandito shines. He is confident and relaxed both alone and in a group. He crosses water and bridges, navigates tricky terrain, and takes everything in stride. Bikes, strollers, dogs, wildlife — nothing phases him. He leads with confidence but will settle in anywhere in the group. With his surefootedness and good sense of direction, he would also excel as a pack or hunting horse. His ability to stay calm and think through new environments is exceptional, especially for his age. Bandito is the total package — versatile, trainable, and ready to become someone’s heart horse. Whether you’re looking for a show prospect, a dependable trail mount, or an athletic and smart partner to bring along, he has all the right pieces in place. He’s a gelding with endless potential and a personality to match. Willing to hold for 1 week.
