Description:
16.2hh 1375 lbs. He’s out of a quarter horse stud and a percheron mare. I have owned and ridden this gelding since he was three years old. I have used him for everything on the ranch. He has drug tons of calves at brandings. He’s been used to rope and doctor yearlings, cows, and bulls. He’s been used in the mountains for hunting and packing wild game. He is sure footed and will cross anything. He has never offered to buck, he stands tied quietly, and he is a gentleman to shoe. The only bad thing about this gelding is that he is a little watchy on the ground and touchy about his ears. With his ground traveling walk and big motor I would recommend an intermediate to advanced rider. He is lightly started on the heading side out of the box. He is very quick for his size and I believe he could make a big time heading horse.
