Also taught our 11-year-old son how to ride. Sturdy like a draft horse, smooth and easy like a quarter horse. This horse can climb a mountain easily. We bought him as our family horse that anyone could hop on if we needed to switch out horses so that we weren’t limited to just one horse in the family, we could ride any of them. We bought horse from a government trapper so he has been hunted on a lot. He was owned by his father before that and was a roping horse. We have fallen on hard times for medical reasons and selling our family horses both this online sale and next. Wife selling her horse, husband horse being sold, kids horse too. These are horses we were planning on keeping forever. Vaccinated and Coggins ready. Will stand to shoe, has a full set on of shoes right now. This is the horse we searched for many years to find and is our unicorn! He has a versatile background and is just a fun horse that will go with the level of different riders when asked easily from intermediate to advanced. We have a bunch of dogs, he’s Good around dogs as well and easy to trailer load. Will go in trailer next to anything, has been around our mules and donkeys too. Horse Between 15-16 hands high. Pics show person who is 6 foot 2. Has a beautiful big trot. Will pick up correct lead in arena. Was started trick to lay down on command. Will go in water no problem, and cross logs with ease. He’s had enough time in arena and also out in the real world and wilderness. Excellent around cattle and has been our go to horse for everything. We spoiled him, would have chiropractic work done on him too. You can stand up in the saddle on him. Beautiful red roan color. He can be in pasture with mares and geldings together. We’ve had him with our stud horse too and they get along. Just a happy horse that is willing to please and is so fun and versatile! This is a very good solid horse that has been loved and cherished by our family! Horse located near Sacramento, California. Horse has gone on many trips with us and lots of travel out of state too.
