Description:
Meet Major he is a 5yr quarter/draft cross. He would be the perfect horse for anyone in the family young or old or ready to go to work. He stands tied all day without a fuss stands perfect for farrier and bath. I have yet to find anything that spooks this horse he has been shot off of dogs ride around on his back tarps dragged over top of his back and down the other side and kids have used him as a jungle gym. This horse is fine doing whatever you desire but he does enjoy working cattle. I have penned cattle in sale barns doctored yearlings and caught loose cattle in the pasture and used him to gather plenty of herds of cattle on his own and have tracked dummy around in arena as well as heeled 40 or so steers and he tracks cattle and dummy around with no help. If I had children there’s no chance I would be selling him but I would rather someone enjoys him for what he is rather than me work off of him. Couldn’t ask for a better set of feet on a good young horse he will go all day with no problems and be the first one standing at the gate waiting on you the next day
