Description:
Ash is a 12 year old draft cross gelding, 16hh, with a size 2 shoe and solid black feet. He is easy to catch, load, and stands for the farrier. Ash is a mature gelding that would be a welcome addition to any operation and who anyone can ride. He is no stranger to camp life, river crossings, hobbles, bells, chain saws and high lines. We refer to him as the dump truck as this mature stout gelding has packed it all. Horns, tents, saw boxes, Ash will carry the load. He socializes well with other horses, has been packed in a string and is not easily rattled. Ash is no stranger to cows and has roped the heel-o-matic and used in the feedlot. He’s no stranger to a hard day’s work. Light mouthed with a good stop, neck reins, and side passes to open gates. Ash is build solid, patient, and would be a welcome addition to any dude string or ranch. He will take you anywhere you want to go!
