Coconut is a 12 year old draft cross grey mare born and raised on our place. We’ve used Coconut in all aspects of our outfitting business. We started packing her as a 3 year old then moved her into the guide string at 4 where she got exposed to most everything a mountain horse can see. The last few years both guides and guests have rode her. She is as tough as one comes and can go all day every day. She is safe for anyone to ride and dog gentle. She likes people, is easy to catch and wants to be your friend. Coconut is one of our everyday using horses and there’s not much in the mountains that she hasn’t seen or done. Coconut is great to pack and you can load anything on her. She keeps up and never tightens the lead rope. If you’re looking for a tough gentle and 100% sound using horse, Coconut fits the bill.
