Description:
Janet is a well-made 1/2 Belgian, 1/4 percheron, 1/4 quarter horse mare that was born and raised on our farm. We started her as 2 year old to both ride and drive and she has grown into a very nice mare. She been ridden in the mountains for hunting and is confident whether she’s riding out alone or traveling in a string. Janet has packed meat and camp gear without issue and handles herself well in rough country. On the farm she has worked all types of hay equipment including round baler, hay rake and mower. She works with snap and is responsive. Janet is easy to catch in pasture and stands well to be shod. Due to her work ethic and forward nature she would not be recommend for beginners.
