14 hands 900#. Reba has been with us since the winter of her 3 year old year. She was started by our son Howdy who was 7 at the time and has been ridden by many, but primarily him, since. He is now almost 14 and has outgrown her so she is in search of her next partner. Reba is gentle and quiet and has done most everything on the ranch as well as been an equal partner in the great imagination of a ranch kid. Joining in on the races, jumping homemade courses, building forts, and playing tag. Although being a part of those surely filled her days she also has a serious working resume that helped shape her into the well-loved pony she has become. Beyond the hundreds of miles Reba has traveled in rough country she has drug many calves to the fire as well as head and heel brandings. She handles them well and is fun to rope on. You can sort, doctor by yourself, or just go on a trail ride. She’s happy to go along. Although we wouldn’t call her finished she has been roped on out of the box the last two summers at the local rodeos in the breakaway roping and has done really well for Howdy placing them in several rodeos and winning a little money. She runs hard and flat to cattle and has a good stop. Shoes well, hobbles great, trailers and travels with no issues.
