Description:
14 hands 900#. Running Bear has been around our place for a number of years and has extensive experience in all the ranch chores. Cassidy has roped on him a lot outside doctoring, by herself as well as with help, drug a lot of calves to the fire to nord forks and head and heel brandings. Tagged/doctored calves, wrangled and trailed horses you name it he has helped accomplish the task. Sure footed and handles himself really well in rough country. He is happy to go all day or just a short trip around the pasture. Although Running Bear is pretty quiet we would not call him a beginner pony. He would be better suited to an intermediate/advanced rider at this time. He is good with his feet and has been trimmed a few times but has never needed shoes so has never been shod. Hobbles, ties, loads and hauls well with no issues. To visit more about or come try him before the sale give us a call and we would be happy to help.
