Description:
Perry is a super easy to get along with athletic young gelding. He is an excellent ranch and trail horse and has been ridden extensively through Tennessee and Kentucky terrain, crossing anything in his path with no fuss. He has been used to sort and check cattle, aswell as sort sheep on multiple occasions. This guy hasn’t met anything to intimidate him yet, he has been used for mounted shooting and took on many coon hunts & used to shoot for sport. He has hauled me pregnant with my twins and my husband and daughter safely through many miles, as well as handy experienced teens. Perry has also been taught to lay down on command and will stand when cued after his rider is mounted. He’s the type you can walk all day on the trails or take him to the arena and let him get to work. He can w/t/l circles in both directions. He has a motor when asked and would make a perfect speed event prospect. Perry is the in your pocket type and loves to please both in the saddle and on the ground. He stands quietly while tied, loads and backs out of the trailer with ease, stands for bathing and clipping, has stood many hours tied at rodeos. He is traffic safe and has been rode & handled around all kinds of farm equipment and vehicles. If you’re looking for a good honest young gelding who can still get up go and win some gold, this is your guy! Will hold 7 days after purchase. Horse must be picked up from my farm. Sells 100% sound and sells with a current soundness check from the vet.
