A RED LITE CHIC | 2008 AQHA Rodeo Mare | 15HH



This mare has been there done that! Very safe and honest, has so much run left in her. She has rodeoed most her life (hasn’t had her legs ran off), mainly in the barrel pen but has also been used as a bulldogging horse. She runs the exact same run in an indoor and has clocked in the 1D with a half second split. Just recently she ran a mid 18 on a standard. She would be a 3D/4D horse in these big outdoor pens with a half second split. Back home we run indoors a lot and she would be considered a 2D with a second split at big events.

She is my favourite desert riding horse, very easy on the trails, nothing fazes her, she walks, trots on a loose rein. She would make a dandy youth rodeo horse or anyone wanting to hit up jackpots. Very nice to have on the road, pen her in electric, panels, or leave tied.



I call her my average horse, she stays away from the barrels and usually pulls me a cheque as an average winner. I also use her as my practice breakaway horse on the dummy, she tracks very nice and stops when asked. She can be impatient like most barrel horses but she is not dangerous and comes by it honestly. Has zero soundness issues, she’s never stepped a lame step, I do get her hocks injected as she has a nicer stop. She is currently legged up and ready to be someone’s new mount. All videos are current within a year.
