Description:
Currently interviewing for an experienced cowboy/farm hand. Must have history working with horses, handling, feeding, turnout, stall cleaning etc. Riding a plus. Manage one to 2 people.



Competitive salary based on experience (range: $35,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications). Plenty of rentals available within 5 minutes of the farm.



Key Responsibilities:

• Livestock Care: Feeding and general care of various animals, including horses, cattle, chickens, cats.

• Machinery Operation and Maintenance: Proficient use of Skid loader, gators, zero turn mowers, fence repair/building etc.

• Hauling and Transportation: Safely hauling animals, equipment, and hay on trailers. Must demonstrate skills in hooking up trailers, tying down equipment, balancing loads, and backing/maneuvering trailers.

• Decision-Making and Independence: Make quick, independent decisions while prioritizing safety and clear communication.

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly in extreme heat or cold conditions.

• Other Duties: General farm maintenance and support for educational initiatives as needed.
