This role is ideal for someone with strong spraying experience who enjoys running equipment, wants steady work, and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a family operation. This position works closely with the owner and existing team, playing a key role in crop spraying, equipment operation, and general farm responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Operate farm sprayer for: Corn, soybeans, wheat, and pasture spraying Apply chemicals safely and accurately following label and safety guidelines Maintain spray records and ensure compliance Operate additional farm equipment, including: Tractors Combines (eventually) Other row-crop equipment as needed Assist with general farm operations year-round Help with cattle work primarily during winter months Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections Required Qualifications Previous sprayer operation experience (required) Experience with agricultural equipment Valid driver’s license Must have or be willing to obtain: Kansas Private Applicator License Commercial Applicator License Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded Preferred Qualifications Experience spraying 5,000+ acres annually Familiarity with John Deere Equipment Background in row-crop farming Desire to be part of a long-term farm operation Operation Details Farm 3,500 row crops Spray 10,000–12,000 acres per year Estimated 600–700 hours/year in the sprayer Work split: 85% farming 15–20% cattle (more cattle work in winter) Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $60,000–$68,000 DOE Flexible structure: Higher salary OR Housing stipend with adjusted salary Now housing onsite but town is 5 miles away and will assist with finding local housing Stable, year-round position Apply: https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17684978918890075108sqg Posted 01-19-26 827 visitors have viewed this ad
