Description:
Fonzy is a stout, strong, cowy gelding standing at 15.2hh. He is an excellent all around gelding, and has recently been getting used for all phases of ranch and feedlot work as well. He has doctored cattle and been roped off of, has a ground covering walk, and has the ambition to get any job done that you pick for the day. He loads easy, stands good for the farrier, baths, ties, and has great ground manners. Under saddle, he is more go than whoa. Soft in the face, side passes, spins, good stop, works off leg cues and seat. He does require some maintenance (front shoes) – PPE’s welcome at your expense. He is missing a section of his mane due to his feeder, but it’s growing back. He is low maintenance and an easy keeper. He is a joy to ride – you’ll never be outrun or out worked. If you are looking for a good foundation to take to the roping pen, barrel pen, or just have a solid ranch horse – he’s your guy.
