Description:
Ike is a big, beautiful gelding standing 16.2 and weighing 1350 pounds! Ike has been ridden many miles in the mountains where he is very sure footed and can go all day. Ike spent 2 months last fall with trainer Katie St Claire and 1 month with trainer Tice Heiner where Tice started Ike on roping. Ike is a beautiful mover making him easy to ride all day. Ike has never offered to buck or rear even with months off. Ike hasn’t been finished in any discipline however he has a great start. He side passes, opens gates, neck reins, picks up both leads, and will drag a log. Ike is the first to greet you in the morning with a nicker and he is easy to catch anywhere. Can be stalled or on pasture, very easy keeper. Ties, loads, hauls and blankets great. Ike is big enough to stop a cow and be a future bull puller, he’s that stout. This horse is going to make someone a great mount.
