Description:
Ducky is a solid, young broke ranch horse with plenty of size and substance — big feet, big bone, and all the try you could ask for. Standing 15.2 hands, he’s built to last and carries the kind of pedigree everyone wants in a using horse. We’ve had riders of all experience levels on Ducky, and he takes great care of each one. He stands quietly to mount and dismount, saddles and bridles like a gentleman, and is a pleasure to handle. He’s super fun to move and sort cattle on, with the handle and buttons to make the job enjoyable. Great to ride out by yourself or in a group. Ducky picks up his leads nicely, spins, and stops hard. He’s been used all over the ranch, knows what a long day’s work is, and stays quiet, steady, and dependable no matter what you throw at him. We’ve also started roping the heel-O-matic on the heading side and he’s showing a lot of promise there, too. If you’re looking for a broke, good-minded gelding that’s ready to go right to work or just be your go-to weekend partner. Ducky is the one! Ducky was treated for EPM when he was younger and has since tested negative. He’s been sound, strong, and performing great in all ranch and arena work.
