Jag is one of those once in a lifetime types — smart, kind, and downright enjoyable to be around. Lightly started under saddle, he offers a quiet walk, jog, lope, an easy lead change, and a good stop. Jag trail rides on the buckle with no spook, buck, rear, or bolt. He truly takes everything in stride. He requires zero lunge prep, has zero nonsense, and will happily go to work however you ask — bareback, in a halter, English or Western. He’s a snaffle type ride with more whoa than go. Need a calm horse for grandma to ride? He’s your guy. Looking for a safe, fun project for your kid? He’s your guy. Want a show or rodeo prospect? He’s got the build and brain for it. Jag has that slow, rocking horse lope that’ll shine in the hunter or pleasure pen, but he’s also put together to handle speed events. He’s been exposed to cows, pigs, and goats, pulls a sled, and carries a flag without batting an eye. He’s green, but very willing — the kind anyone can confidently bring along. In the video shown, this was Jag’s very first time off property for a ride. He shipped like a seasoned horse — quiet, relaxed, and ready to go as soon as he stepped off the trailer. No spook, no drama, just happy to do his job. He loads, ties, bathes, and stands great for the farrier. Flashy, personable, and always the first to greet you at the gate. Jag is said to be by Dash Ta Fame, but sells as grade since papers aren’t in hand. His only quirk? He stall weaves at feeding time — but who can blame him? With hay in front of him or turnout with buddies, he doesn’t weave at all. At buyer’s request, I am happy to have him gelded before he leaves at buyers expense.
