Standing 14.3 hands and weighing 1,200 lbs, he’s built strong and balanced, with the kind of substance that can carry a rider all day. Bred for both brains and ability, he goes back to Smart Little Lena on the top side, and Doc’s Hickory and Peppy San Badger on the bottom—proven bloodlines known for their athleticism, cow sense, and rideability. In the arena, Lynx is polished and responsive, knowing all the reining maneuvers and performing them with ease. He’s been shown in ranch riding, hauled to local shows, and always handles the atmosphere with composure. His gaits are a pleasure—he has a smooth, ground-covering extended trot and a comfortable rocking chair lope. He’s well on his way with his lead changes, has a big, correct stop, and moves off the leg with precision. Lynx has also been roped on in the pasture, roped the Smarty, and taken everything in stride, showing his versatility and willing attitude. Equally dependable outside the arena, Lynx is a dream on the trails, whether you’re riding alone or in a group. He’s sure-footed, confident, and has been ridden by kids, proving his gentle nature and reliability. Safe, sound, and seasoned, this gelding is the kind that lets you relax and enjoy the ride—whether that’s in the show pen, working around the ranch, or heading down the trail. Lynx offers the total package: quality breeding, proven training, and an unflappable disposition, making him the perfect partner for riders who expect the best. 100% Sound, Safe and Gentle.
