Metallic Blue Angel, a beautiful 2023 blue roan mare, is by Metallic Malice (LTE $6,000, PE >$263k) and out of a Jerry Lee’s Surprise (LTE $44,500, PE >$586k) mare with 1D barrel and progeny earnings. Raven will be wrapping up 90-days with MacDonald Performance Training based in Bozeman, MT and will be ready to go in any direction at the time of sale. This is a special little filly with tons of potential. She has lots of cow, wants to work in position, and wants to work! She is flashy, happy, and catches everyone’s eye. We would love to keep her in our program and finish her as a cowhorse or cutter. She also says she would be happy to be a rope horse and her dam was a 1D barrel horse so she should run too. Eligible for Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle, Royal Crown, Breeders Challenge, and Triple Crown. Raven has royalty on both sizes and her pedigree screams performer. Metallic Malice is a son of Metallic Cat and is a NCHA, NRCHA, AQHA, and roping money earner of $5,935. His oldest progeny have already made waves at the Royal Crown and Riata roping events, in the barrel world, and are entering the stage as cowhorses and cutters as well with over $263,000 in progeny earnings so far. With more foals just coming of age, Malice’s influence is set to extend across various events and his PE will continue to increase from here. Raven’s dam, JERRYS ANGEL EYES, was a 1D barrel horse earning $3K before being injured, and has produced money earning offspring. She was sired by JERRY LEES SURPRISE, who was an NRHA derby champion. He earned $44,599 and has produced get with earnings of over $586K. Jerry Lees Surprise was sired by SURPRISE ENTERPRISE, who had NRHA LTE of $44,873. He was an NRHA Open World Champion, AQHA World Champion Senior Reining Horse, NRHA Open Super Stakes Champion, NRHA Open Derby 3rd, with progeny earnings of over $386K.
