Description:
GF Mr. Sugar Monkey by Bertie’s Monkey X GF Ladysugar Hancock. He is 16.2hh at top of wither. This horse is big boned and thick! PPE welcome at potential buyer’s expense. UTD on all vaccines and working, fresh shoes, and a current coggins. Personable and sweet tempered. He has a nice foundation, and more room to learn. He was started correct and has done ranch roping, dragging, used in a sale barn, and started on the heading side. This is not a finished rope horse, but he could be. He will work when asked, has a good stop and a powerful hip under him. He will haul alone with no issues, good ground manners. The kids have ridden him; this said he is not being sold as a kid’s horse. Transparency blurb, this horse needs a job, he needs to be used. The one and only occurrence of bucking happened recently, he has been sitting for a few months and was cold backed. He needs a handy rider, and warmup beforehand if left sitting. He is the in-charge gelding if in a herd. He has been ridden by inexperienced kids, but this is only after he has either been ridden recently or really warmed up, he’s been dog gentle with the kids. This guy has beauty and brains; he could take a rider in any direction with time. Please reach out with any questions.
