Trappers sire is an own son of NCHA money earner, Trapper Cat. His jet black color, the strip down his face, cute little head and stocky build is just some of what Trapper has to offer. We really enjoy riding this fancy 5 year old gelding. He’s well broke with a one handed neck rein, nice turn around, big stop and is smooth at all gaits. We have drug logs on him, calves at branding time, the sled for the kids he’s ready for any job you put in front of him. Out on the ranch he is seasoned in all the ranch chores. Gathering, loading trucks, he’s handy in the sorting alley and will rope one out in the pasture. Trapper handles a rope well and is strong from the horn. He could go to the roping pen and make a switch end rope horse as well. Down the trails he’s confident and honest. Trapper will ride out alone or in a group. He doesn’t mind being in the front, middle or back of the group. Take him through the deep flowing creeks, thick brush, over downfall, across bridges he will be easy to guide through it all.
