JD is competing in the barrel racing and is a finished head horse. He was just started on the barrels this spring and consistently lands in the 3D and is just starting to run. He has been going to the Montana Amateur rodeos as well to start getting seasoned. He would be a suitable for a #4 to a #6+ header. Quiet in the box, stands like rock and handles steers amazingly. He has also been used in the branding pen. He worked for 2 weeks at the NFR in December in the back pens moving stock around as well. We have played around with the trick riding and he has been hauled to multiple rodeos over the past couple years. As a 3 year old he was used daily guiding elk hunters for rifle season. He is ready to go for someone to take him and keep competing. This is such a nice horse with a great personality. Loads/hauls great, stands for a farrier and will stand tied all day.
