He’s the kind that stays gentle and consistent, whether you’re using him on the ranch or backing him into the roping box. Wilson is a seasoned head horse that’s been hauled to plenty of jackpots and rodeos. He’s solid in the box, scores great, runs to the same spot every time, and is strong off the horn. If you’re looking for a rope horse that you can ride in the #7 ropings up to the #15, Wilson is one you can rely on. Outside of the arena, Wilson has been used extensively for all aspects of ranch work. He’s done everything from doctoring and sorting cattle to dragging calves at brandings and working long days in the pasture. He’s also spent time in the feed yard, making him well-versed in different types of jobs. He’s also been used all over the northern rodeos as a pickup horse.
