15.1hh. Born and raised on Meyers Ranch in Creswell, Oregon, Tucker embodies the renowned durability, athleticism, and gentle nature of Meyers horses. His pedigree is loaded with top producers such as, Quincy Sun Dun, Joe Canal, Leo Hancock Hayes, Docs Hill Dee and Blue Beard! His dam produced my favorite colts ever year. At Meyers Ranch colts are raised on the same tough terrain that they are expected to travel under saddle, creating a durable, sure footed colt. Over the last three months Tucker has been part of my program at Kiesha’s Custom Colts. I have dedicated a lot of time focusing on the little things that make a great horse. Such as lowering his head to bridle, accepting deworming, picking up his feet, loading in a trailer, standing tied, drinking water out of buckets, and hauling to new locations. In the arena he has a great walk trot canter. I have started him on shoulder and hip yields, turn around, side passing ECT. Tucker is the perfect balance between whoa and go. You can ask him to be quick and move his feet, then drop the reins and let him walk. He is a get willing gelding with a great start to put your finishing touches on. Tucker is great on the trails. He doesn’t hesitate to cross ditches, go down banks or over bridges. He is up to date on deworming and vaccines. (Safeguard and 5way plus wnv) His teeth were floated last month. Tuckers training will continue until his time of pickup. Board is covered until Aug 25th. I am more than happy to help arrange shipping.
