Description:
We are in search of a trustworthy and motivated individual with ownership mentality to help a 4th generation family-owned farm and cattle ranch with daily work and seasonal operations. We run 200+ cow/calf pairs (mostly purebred Angus and F1 Baldies) and also have both dryland and irrigated farmland. We raise corn, wheat, milo (on occasion), cane feed and plant cover crops for grazing.



We believe that God owns everything and we are just stewards of what He’s given us to manage.



Since we are a diversified farm, no two days will look alike. However, some basic daily seasonal tasks might include checking cattle, checking irrigation motors, servicing equipment, mowing, and feeding silage.



We are seeking…



- Ten or more years’ experience with livestock and/or farming background



- Valid Driver’s License required with clean record



- Non-smoking



- Someone who isn’t afraid to put in hard work and long hours during the busy seasons like calving, planting and harvesting



-An honest person who isn’t afraid to admit when they’ve made an error and is also willing to fix their own mistakes



- Days and time off are dependent on seasonal work as long as planned ahead of time and coordinated



We don’t currently utilize horses in our operation, just ATV’s, although there may be room to board a couple horses on the property.



Wage package includes a monthly salary, a 3 bed/2.5 bathroom newly remodeled house with basic utilities paid (no indoor pets), a pickup for farm work, and 1 heifer at the completion of each year with expenses paid for keeping her on our farm. No health insurance is provided, but we do give out seasonal bonuses based on effort and reliability. Additional benefits can be added for loyal employees.
