Standing at 14.2 hands this shapey gelding has the athleticism, cow and brains to get it all done from the roping pen to the ranch to the arena. He’s taken care of cows in the steep Sawtooth Mountains and knows his way around the tough country. He has roped a lot of cattle in the pasture and branding pen and has tracked the dummy a lot. He has done all aspects of ranch work: snappy in the gate sorting, opens gates effortlessly, long days, trailered hours, stands tied, bathes, backs out of the trailer. Gentle with time off this is the kind of horse that can be very versatile for many different people. He is an outstanding heel horse prospect with enough cow to track like crazy and enough brain to stay in the bridle and wait for you. He’s straight legged and good to shoe. He has some wither marks but no blemishes other than that.
