Oliver was raised by a women in her late 70’s who trained him herself. Oliver is very broke, but is slow and correct. Oliver has a walk to him, with a very nice fluid jog, and a rocking horse lope. Oliver will pivot, side pass, neck rein, he rides bridleless in or outside of the arena. Oliver has been used in the sortings and really shows interest in a live cow. A youth has roped the dummy on him for fun and he’s been hauled to lots of judged trail ride and obstacle classes. Oliver will run to you in the field, stalls well and is as docile and friendly as you will ever meet in a horse. I guarantee him to find you in the field before you ever spot him, he truly believes he’s a dog. Oliver has been used in lots of lessons and adapts to his rider. Although he has many fancy buttons, his goal is to please and thrives with any rider or task that’s given to him. Oliver has been in knowledgeable hands since a foal and you can tell. He’s a pleasure to own, the kind of horse you WANT to go out and ride. The ONLY reason Oliver is being offered for sale is because sadly he kept growing and his prior owner couldn’t get on and off him when trail riding without a mounting block.
