Description:
Snorty is a 14.3 hand gelding that’s been my personal and go to horse. Before we get any further, his name is an inside joke, he begs you don’t hold it against him. Are you wanting something that can outwalk anything but stays level headed, something you can use all through the week on the ranch than let the kids haul to the Jr rodeos? Look no further! Snorty has been started on the flag, tracks the hot heels, loping a very correct barrel pattern and has been hauled all over for expos. I use him in grand entries and to get horses in the arena. Snorty has been my personal gelding that I truly do everything on, I check our cows daily and he’s really taken a liking to the barrels. Snorty does NOT ride like a barrel horse, he’s always low headed, with a big fluid walk, and an easy to sit jog and lope. He moves off your leg, collects up, soft as butter in his sides and face, turns around correctly and always wants to please. Snorty saddles up gentle, and rides off gentle with time off. He hauls and ties like an old ranch horse, our good friends have owned him since a 2 year old, and they put some cutting training on him, and worked the flag. If you want a solid horse to put a handy youth on to turn into a jam up all around rodeo horse, or you’re in your 60’s and wanting a good ranch prospect, one you can drop your reins and he will outwalk any horse but stay level headed and never get fast, this is your guy ! He’s reliable, and always wants to please. Snorty rides bridleless, and has even been hauled to the trail/ obstacle classes. He’s been in knowledgeable hands his entire life, and his willingness and training can back that up. He’s 100% sound and blemish free.
