If you sat on Bluey and I told you he was 10 years old you’d believe me. This horse is mature and GENTLE for any level of rider. He may be young but he is not lacking in real life experience or handle. He has a one hand neck rein, listens to seat and leg cues. He will side pass to every gate to open and shut. You can get off of him in the middle of the pasture and drop your reins and he will stay there every time. Bluey has been a staple in our little family. He’s a horse that I can let my timid wife get on and enjoy for an evening ride or let my 2 year old daughter sit on with me to go check cattle. And although Bluey is as gentle as they come, he has just as much heart and try as you’ll find in those man killers that those big ranches love. He will go ALL DAY LONG. Everything that there is to do on the ranch, he’s done it and has the t-shirt to prove it. I’ve rode him through town, next to the highway. He’s been rode around tractors and other farm equipment and every farm animal that exists. He will cross any water that you ask him to. You will absolutely love this horse.
