Description:
Dolly Jo is an extremely beautiful, deep dappled bay 6 year old grade mare with a feminine head and a gorgeous profile. She foaled a filly on April 9 that looks just like herself, out of a paint Hackney-X, and we named the filly April. :)



We bought Dolly in 2023, and both our son and daughter have ridden her, including for miles outside. However, she has some fears from her past that keep her from fully trusting people, and we can’t honestly say she’s a beginner pony.



We decided to give her some time off from developing as a riding pony and see how she would do as a broodmare. She has done a flawless job and her foal is growing quickly; Dolly is stretching out in her lovely trot trying to keep up.



We currently have her running with a registered POA stud and given her good condition we think she is a good candidate for rebreeding, making her a possible 3-n-1 purchase for a buyer seeking a great pony family to enjoy and develop.



We also purchased a pony cart (available) with the idea of driving her, but have decided instead to offer her to a new owner with more time to spend with her. She does have a lot of potential whichever direction you decide to take her!
