Description:
“Goose” is a 2009 AQHA gelding. Stands about 16HH. We have had him for about a year and a half. We have used him in the branding pen, to gather pastures, and rode him in the arena some. It is clear he is more confident in an arena but handles being outside. We were told he was a barrel horse but we never ran barrels on him. He can be roped off of but is not a rope horse. He can get fresh at times but can be easily talked out of it. We pulled him out at the beginning of April and had no trouble with him even after him having six months off this winter. He is very responsive to leg pressure and is not hard mouthed. He loads, ties, and stands for the farrier. He does have a scar on his back right leg, but it does not cause soundness issues. We are only getting rid of him as he is not better with a rope and we need a horse that is a more of a ranch type horse. We are located in Cody, Wyoming. We will hold him for 10 days after the sale and will deliver up to 100 miles from Cody.
