Description:
Meadow is a 2013 AQHA dunkskin mare. She is stout and beautiful standing at 15hh. Meadow is a fantastic trail horse; she’s as sure footed as a mountain goat. She will ride out alone or with a group. She has been hauled to the black hills and to many trails around Minnesota. She is traffic safe, will walk over fallen logs, navigate through rough, rocky terrain, cross water and mud, and takes calculated steps while walking down steep embankments. Meadow will stand patiently tied all day long if needed. She was just exposed to cattle at a sorting practice and did really well (clip in the video of that experience) and could have the potential to go that route if desired. She stands for the farrier and is barefoot, she has had shoes on all four when riding out west in rocky terrain. Meadow had one foal in 2022, and she is color tested. Due to meadow being sensitive and light with pressure, she would be best suited for an experienced rider who understands how to ride with proper light hands and legs cues. Meadow loves a job; she will excel in an environment where there is a structured and has a regular routine. She has a few scrapes and bite marks in different locations, nothing that affects soundness. One scrape is on her forehead above right eye, on the right side of her neck, and front right leg. She has a couple bite marks/scrapes on each hindquarter. She is up to date on vaccines, coggins and will have a health certificate. Willing to hold up to 14 days at no charge.
