Description:
Smoke is a AQHA 8 yr old grulla gelding. He has been used for many miles of trail riding and light ranch work. He lopes nice circles, has a good stop, moves well off of leg pressure, and is very easy to get along with. Smoke leads well, stands tied, can be turned out alone or in a herd, has excellent ground manners. Rides out by himself with no problem. All his gaits are super smooth especially his lope. At 15 hh he can cover the country and has the stamina to go all day if asked. He doesn’t gap his mouth and rides with alot of feel. He has been tarped and desensitized to many things here on our farm and cattle ranch. Been in the feedyard pulling sick cattle. I Believe Smoke could make an excellent calf roping horse. He has the speed an has developed a hard stop when the rope is thrown, I do not have the ability to train him for this but think it wouldn’t take much for someone with experience. No health problems whatsoever. He is going to sale at THE MILE HIGH SELECT SALE in Loveland, CO. Saturday, February 15, 2025.
